Learn and listen to the Bagpipes : Grant Peddie
Main Street East Huntsville, OntarioMusique — Coup d’œil en coulisse , Entretien et discussion
Come to Huntsville's Main Street and have a chat with Grant as he explains a bit of the history behind the Great Highland Bagpipe and how they make their unique sound.
Some people describe the sound o' the pipes as melancholy while others say it's quite brilliant. Grant will demonstrate how the Great Highland Bagpipes are played so you can decide for yourself. At least one thing is for sure -- the music you hear played will be quite stirring. Grant will be taking his baggies apart and putting them together again.

Grant Peddie
Grant began his musical career when he was 10 years old studying piano under the Royal Conservatory of Music. Grant remembers quite clearly watching many parades with a pipe band or two. To date he has almost 15 years of bagpiping experience. Today Grant is available as an all occasion lone piper (weddings, funerals, piping in corporate head head tables, sporting events, birthdays, and of course scotch tastings!). Teaching is a passion and insists that students learn music theory.
