Come for the art, stay for the wine in Canada's "Wine Capital"!
Multimedia art show, competition and sale. Nine categories of art: Photography, 3-Dimensional, Fibre Arts, Oils, Acrylics, Watercolours, and Mixed/Other Media plus two youth categories. All members of the public are invited to vote for their favourite in each category.
Non-competitive exhibits include:
* The RipOff Artists re-imagining "Tres Personajes Cantando" by Mexican painter Rufino Tamayo, in ten different media.
* CreateAbility artists, a local group of developmentally-challenged adults, presenting recent works.
Exhibits, sales, public voting, dessert reception, live entertainment. Chance to win a stocked wine fridge! Second day runs jointly with the Festival of the Grape. Saturday Admission FREE. Sunday admission through Festival of the Grape ticket only.

Oliver Community Centre
From the junction of Highway 97 and Fairview Road in downtown Oliver, turn east onto Fairview. Cross the bridge over the Okanagan River. The road curves gently north and becomes Park Drive. At the curve where Park Drive begins, turn at the first right into the parking lot of the Oliver Parks and Recreation complex. The Oliver Community Centre is straight ahead at the end of the parking lot.
Oliver Community Arts Council
The Oliver Community Arts Council presents visual and performance arts events year-round highlighting the creativity of the South Okanagan. Events include Wine Capital Art Walk, Showcase of Talent, Music in the Park, the Fall Art Show & Sale, and the Community Christmas Concert. Our is motto: "Art Learned > Art Loved > Art Lived". Our membership includes 20 arts groups, 10 arts businesses, and many individual artists and arts-supporters. We fund several other arts events presented by our members.
