About

Ever wonder how the interdisciplinary artist creates visual imagery? Witness Metis artist, Rain Cabana-Boucher create new graphic works in development in this live demonstration. Originally from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Rain uses various methods of art making such as drawing in combination with painting, sculpture, and digital media to address the themes that pique her interest. Her work is primarily monochromatic, typically utilizing the color red to symbolize her own bloodline, power structures, and Canada as a nation.
