About
Project: Thoughts and words of wind and sky
Project Description: In creating large illuminated paper globes, Indigenous poetry samplings will be written on paper and adhered to the globe for sharing. Some of the poetry will be shared from Storyteller and Singer Joe Naytowhow and Acimowin Storytellers as special guests to the exhibit of poetry. The audience will also be invited to share poetry and glue poetry onto the globes. Flashlights will be loaned to anyone who wants to read the poetry contributions.
The event will take place outdoors in Victoria Park near the information booth on September 29th from 7:00pm until midnight during the Nuit Blanche Regina night time arts festival. New poems will be read throughout the night.
