Uploading an Image for a Culture Days Event Posting
To upload an image for your Culture Days event/activity posting, the following criteria must be followed. The photo must be:
- A maximum size of 3000px wide by 3000px tall.
- A maximum size of 8 MB.
- PNG or JPEG formats only.
- Does not contain large logos or text
If the submitted image does not follow the criteria listed above, Culture Days has the right to edit, remove, and/or replace the file.
Note: Uploaded photos can be cropped within the Culture Days registration system but cannot be converted or compressed. There are many handy online photo editing platforms to help you reformat your photos to fit these format constraints. We recommend Canva Photo Editor, piZap, or Fotor.
Images should be eye-catching and urge visitors to ‘click’ to learn more about the event or activity! Please do not select images that are text-heavy, or reproductions of the Culture Days event poster.
Stuck for ideas? Try using an image that:
- Displays an event or participants in action
- Showcases the diverse group of participants
- Is vivid and impactful – something that depicts the spirit of Culture Days!
- A close-up of hands-on art creation (e.g. pottery wheel, spray painting)
