Come and explore our feature exhibit: "From the Vault" which features a selection of rarely seen artifacts and photos from the museum collection, chosen by members of the Nanaimo Museum team.

Bring the family and embark on a hunt throughout the exhibit to decode clues, break the ciphers and solve a mystery. After October 4th the museum will also be decorated for Halloween and guests can enjoy some spooky tales from our past.

Don't forget to check out the historical walking tour app "On This Spot" for more Nanaimo history ( If you participate in their Then/Now photo contest you can pick up a free photo print here at the museum!
