Nature Untouched: Art Exhibition
Nature Untouched features original paintings by artists Lucas Kratochwil and Sarah Ronald. Lucas Kratochwil is a third-generation painter, who lives and works out of British Columbia, creating large-scale realistic landscape oil paintings. His contemporary approach, combined with decades of painting experience, result in striking compositions that pull the viewer in as if looking at nature directly. His work seeks to bring back the attention of the viewer toward nature, remind us we are here only as visitors and to take care of this planet. Sarah Ronald is a second-generation painter whose diverse upbringing in rural Okanagan shaped her future as a conservation-minded animal artist and aspiring creative writer. Her work comes from a place of reflecting human behavior towards the natural world, and aims to function as a conduit of awareness for the issues facing wildlife. All patrons are required to wear face masks for entry to the exhibition. Hand sanitizing stations are provided inside the venue.
