As the largest public art gallery in Northwestern Ontario, the Thunder Bay Art Gallery is a leader in the exhibition and collection of visual arts throughout the region. … expands the influence of artists and loans artwork to other museums and galleries including the National Gallery of Canada and the Smithsonian Institute.

… welcomes up to 20,000 visitors each year including residents as well as national and international tourists.

… hosts artist talks, lectures, demonstrations, and dialog sessions including hybrid livestreamed events.

… reaches over 4,000 school age children through in person curriculum linked tours and hands-on learning opportunities.

… engages over 1,000 students in the region and beyond through a virtual school tour program.
