Multi/Interdisciplinary, Visual Arts — Hands-On Activity, Behind-the-scenes
"Concrete Poetry Mix" is a hands on activity, suitable for both children and adults, that allows the participants to create a graphic and sound interpretation of a written text using the Euphonopen, an instrument created at Inter Arts Matrix, that translates drawing to sound.
Each participant can enter a poem (an existing or a brand new poem) as text, and record the poem as sound, then draw, with line or text, manipulating the voice of the poem to create a visual and sound mix of the poem. You can create a drawing, or you can save your poem as an animation that you can email to yourself.

Inter Arts Matrix
Inter Arts Matrix fosters the development of worksop art in which the various disciplines are not simply set besides each other, but intermingle and influence each other, creating new forms of expression. The projects developed at Inter Arts Matrix seek to find poetry and meaning in the use of technology, old and new. Inter Arts Matrix emphasis is on supporting artists through the entire creation process, from idea, research, development to production and presentation, via professional development where necessary.
