Poland - The Series

This is an opportunity to learn about Poland's famous people and interesting places.
We aim to keep Polish culture and tradition alive within our community, building relationships with people from many different backgrounds.

All our events are encouraging participation and attendance of the entire community and are fully inclusive to everyone who wants to participate. We try to appeal to the community at large, children, youth, adults and seniors of every ethnic background, gender, religion, income or sexual orientation. Our events help to establish new relationships and friendships.

Located in West Vancouver's Ambleside neighbourhood, across the street from Memorial Park and just east of the Community Centre Public Transportation: West Vancouver's Blue Bus system is part of Translink and we're right on the main route! Blue buses provide accessible service for wheelchairs and scooters, as well as bicycle racks. Free parking is available in the Library's parking lots and on the street.


North Shore Polish Association Belweder

The main purpose of the society is to promote education, arts and music among young people and their families. To foster community spirit through organizing art and music events, working with youth, cooperating with local and Polish organizations and local authorities, keeping Polish culture and tradition alive within our community, building relationships with people from many different backgrounds. We organize concerts, arts exhibitions, community festival, Polish Language school for adults. Our annual Polish Festival endeavours to connect people from the Greater Vancouver community to Poland and its people. We are also interested in supporting young, emerging artist and to provide opportunities for youth to learn new skills by volunteering.
