Literature and Spoken Word — Hands-On Activity
In celebration of Culture Days, Nahid Kazemi -- author of the Fall 2018 Groundwood Books title I'm Glad That You're Happy -- will be delivering a FREE workshop for aspiring writers and/or illustrators at the historic Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA) in downtown Brampton. The workshop is designed for individuals 14 and older. Attendees are encouraged to register to ensure a spot.
Nahid Kazemi is an Iranian artist who received her master’s degree in painting from Tehran Art University in 2007. She started her professional career in 2003 as a graphic designer and illustrator, when she was still in college . She received the first award in book illustration at the Scientific and Cultural Annual Festival in 2007.
