Kyle Mackie and The Flying Pants - LIVE!

The Wooly Pub Guelph, Ontario

Music — Other

The Flying Pants have been performing since 2010. This musical outfit (see what we did there?) features Kyle Mackie (ukulele), Greg Denton (banjo), Ben Alles (guitar), Cameron Werner (bass), and Rob Kerr (guitar). Expect to hear covers from the likes of Johnny Cash, Devo, Tina Turner, Soft Cell, ABBA and others. Everyone sings. Everyone dances. The evening usually ends up with members of the audience on stage with the band: strumming, hooting and hollering.

Organizer

The Wooly Pub

Perhaps the Wooly concept is best represented by renowned Canadian artist Charlie Pachter’s "Queen on a Moose” paintings. These pictures conveyed what would happen if a British pub was transferred to Canada. That pub would feature local foods, beverages and decor. It would be an "All-Canadian” pub featuring the best of the British pub culture. A "local” or home-base pub for its guests.
