Indigenous, Heritage — Excursion, Talks and Discussion
Begin your walk at the Ermatinger Clergue National Historic Site in our Medicinal Gardens. Then walk with us along the shore of the St. Mary's River to discover the educational, therapeutic, and spiritual power of time spent in nature. On the medicine walk we will engage with the indigenous plants that offer therapeutic benefits to our health. Your guide will share their knowledge about black-eyed Susan, golden rod, burdock, thistle, golden rod, yarrow, camomile, evening primrose and more!

Ermatinger Clergue National Historic Site has two of the oldest stone buildings North West of Toronto. Included on the grounds are Heritage Gardens. These gardens will be the starting point for our Medicine Walk - from our Herbal and Medicinal plants along the Hub Trail and waterfront to the Art Gallery of Algoma.
