Basilica of Our Lady Guided ToursBasilica of Our Lady Immaculate Guelph, Ontario
Architecture, Heritage — Behind-the-scenes, Talks and Discussion
Looking up at the structure in all of its architectural glory is awe-inspiring regardless of your religious beliefs. For 120 years, Catholics have been worshipping here in a church that was built with local limestone in Gothic Revival Style by roughly 1200 Guelph families. Designated a National Historic site, the Basilica of our Lady Immaculate is the most visible tourist destination in Guelph, as it is viewed from any direction as you enter the city.
