Maker Culture — Hands-On Activity

Make your own drum using ordinary household items, and then join us in making rhythmic art by spattering paint with a drum! STEAM Centre and the St. Thomas Elgin Local Immigration Partnership also invites you to explore and create music using various tools and technology. Drop-in any time from 10am-2pm to make your drum and explore music through tech! Drumming art sessions will be at specific times. While you're here, grab a bite to eat at our BBQ or take a tour of STEAM Centre!

We create an innovative curriculum for teachers, provide workshops for all ages of learners, and provide support and a collaborative space. The St.Thomas Elgin Local Immigration Partnership is a collaborative community initiative to facilitate the development and implementation of sustainable solutions for the successful integration of newcomers to St. Thomas and Elgin County.
