This exhibit is eight photographers' responses to the challenge of 'capturing the essence of any one place' as seen through their lens. We invite you to experience the power of photography to convey 'A Sense of Place.'
Formed in 2010, the F8 Photography Collective is an artistic collective that consistently challenges and supports each member to produce and exhibit high quality photography.

Driving: From 401, exit Markham Road south. Drive south on Markham Rd. to Lawrence Ave. E. Drive east on Lawrence to Scarborough Golf Club. Drive south and turn left on Confederation Dr. Drive to Tingle Cres. Turn right to entrance. By Transit: From Kennedy Station, take the Scarborough RT to Lawrence East station. Take the 54A East to Scarborough Gold Club. Walk south and turn left on Confederation Dr. Walk to Tingle Cres. and turn right toward Cedar Ridge entrance.
Cedar Ridge Creative Centre
Cedar Ridge Creative Centre offers high quality, hands-on arts programs, gallery exhibitions, and rental opportunities. The arts centre is housed in a historic mansion, built in 1912, and is nestled within lush gardens. Inside the main house you can find Cedar Ridge Gallery, which exhibits contemporary and classic visual and folk art, and upper floor arts studio spaces. The adjacent carriage has an updated pottery studio, and the nearby cottage has studio space for the the artists in residence.
