Join a sixth generation local dressed in period costume on this guided narrative tour.
Beth Ann will explain Port Stanley's rich history from the beginning when the Native Canadians settled here , our founding fathers and how Port Stanley got it's name.
Many of Port Stanley's Heritage sites will be pointed out along the way and Beth Ann has some stories to entertain you. Most of the stories are not even in the history books yet.
In 2024 Port Stanley is celebrating it's 200th Anniversary and Beth Ann loves to talk about our town from the L@PS Railway, our" Coney Island" past to the changes that are happening today , that may change our quaint little fishing village forever!

Heritage Port Stanley
Heritage Port Stanley is dedicated to the preservation and celebration of the history of Port Stanley ,Ontario. Heritage Port Stanley put together an historical postcard video that plays in a loop at the new tourism building. You can also download our Historical Walking tour onto an ipod and listen to it while you walk the tour. This year we also put Historical signs around our harbour that tells the history from the Lift bridge to the Lighthouse.
