Indigenous — Hands-On Activity

The Inuit often use soapstone for traditional carvings. Some Native American tribes and bands make bowls, cooking slabs, and other objects from soapstone; in Flin Flon all Grade 5 students will have an opportunity to create their own soapstone carving during Culture Days.
