Maker Culture, Literature and Spoken Word — Hands-On Activity

Several different book and literature inspired maker stations will be set up throughout the Portage la Prairie Regional Library. Participants will work independently at a variety of projects - choosing to do as many or as few as each person prefers. This event is suitable for all ages, however, children 10 and under should be supervised by a responsible caregiver. The maker space stations will have all supplies and tools required for each project. Registration is not required for this free event.

Portage la Prairie Regional Library is a fully accessible space in the heart of Portage la Prairie. The purpose Prairie Regional Library is to obtain, organize and make conveniently available to all residents of the community recreational, educational and informational materials in convenient form, including books, periodicals, newspapers, pamphlets and other print and non-print materials. All library programs are free to community members. They are designed to further enhance the library’s role in the community.
