Indigenous Women Artists

Hello, my name is Georgina Wing age 75. I am Tshimshian, a Coastal Nation, in Prince Rupert area to the coast of Seattle. We follow our lineage from our Mom's side. My dad is Mongolian from his father side who was brought as a slave to work on the Canadian Railway. His mom was from the Nez Pierce reservation in Montana U.S.A. I met someone who showed me how to do bead work and thats how I began making art.
