Paper Mache Creation Station with Jacqueline Quewezance

Crafts, Indigenous — Collective Creation, Hands-On Activity

Papier Mâché, french for “chewed paper,” is a fun way to create a variety of sculptures. In this workshop we will be creating a variety of unique easy paper mache objects and adding our personal flair to each piece! Keep your creation for yourself or gift to the one you love!

Indigenous Women Artists

Jacqueline Quewezance is an Anishinaabe Kwe from the Keeseekoose First Nation in Saskatchewan. She has been an artist for 20 years and her main artistic discipline she practices is acrylic painting. Jacqueline's cultural identity informs her artistic practice and she is proud to be a member of the Indigenous Women Artists collective and facilitating a workshop at BC Cultural Days.
