After the apple-picking and baking, stay at Jean Anderson's for an evening of solar observing and star-gazing. There will be telescopes available as well as astronomical and solar binoculars. A sky tour will take place highlighting objects that you can see right from your own back yard.

Gordon Duff has been an amateur astronomer for many years. He is a regular attendee of Starfest which is Canada's largest Star Party held annually outside Durham, Ontario. He is a member of the Minto Arts Council and Minto Cultural Roundtable, Supporting Performing Arts in Rural Communities as well as the Culture days Ontario Task Force.
