In conjunction with the annual ceramics conference 1000 Miles Apart, ACAD's School of Craft + Emerging Media (SC+EM) is hosting an exhibition opening reception and silent auction of student, faculty and alumni work.
1000 Miles Apart is a conference connecting post-secondary ceramics students across Canada through exhibitions, presentations, and artist demonstrations. The conference rotates through five post-secondary institutions on an annual basis (ACAD, Lakehead University, University of Regina, Red Deer College, University of Manitoba) and is hosted by ACAD once every five years.
In addition to the exhibition opening reception, artists from across the world will be on site participating in presentations, exhibitions and demonstrations that will also be open to the public.

In addition to offering credentialed undergraduate degrees in a variety of program areas, spanning it's four Schools of study, ACAD also offers a Masters of Fine Arts graduate degree in Craft Media.
