Culture Days @ HPL: Odin Remix - Film MusicHamilton Public Library: Central Library Hamilton, Ontario
Music, Film or Video — Behind-the-scenes
Culture Days @ the Library is a city-wide celebration of arts and culture taking place at various Hamilton Public Library branches.
In 2017, Toronto's Odin Quartet successfully developed a show inspired by movie music. The show consists of catchy and memorable tunes, specifically written for movie soundtracks, as well as classical music used in films. To accompany the musical performance, Quartet members also discuss and explain the connection between music and film with the audience members. The Quartet has presented this project on many occasions and is excited to play it again for new audiences for Culture Days @ HPL!

Established in 2015, downtown Toronto, the Odin String Quartet promotes modern Canadian compositions alongside works of the classical music literature. They believe that an understanding of the history of classical music is essential to the creation of new and meaningful modern music. Recently, Odin has been performing in the GTA and working on their first solo recording project. In July 2017, they played at the gala opening of Music Niagara Festival, and at Ottawa Valley Music Festival in September 2017.
