Culture Days @ the Library is a city-wide celebration of arts and culture taking place at various Toronto Public Library branches.

Professional puppeteers and special effects artists demonstrate how they create movie magic. Learn how green screens, puppets and miniature models are used to bring puppets and creatures to life on screen in this practical, hands-on demonstration.

Unraku Studios is an artist-run, non-profit studio dedicated to exploring, developing and promoting the art of puppetry through film production, workshops, screenings, and exhibitions. We're a partnership of multidisciplinary artists with backgrounds in animation, illustration, fine art, film, and theatre who draw on each others' diverse skills to produce work that blends state-of-the-art digital technology with good, old fashioned, hand-crafted puppetry.
