All the Trees WalkVancouver, British Columbia
Visual Arts, Multi/Interdisciplinary — Excursion, Talks and Discussion
All the Trees encourages participants to take a closer look at the trees around West Point Grey Community Centre and Jericho Park. Thirty trees are tagged with an email address and an invitation to send a personal email to the tree. A group of poets, horticulturalists, historians and artists will be responding to the emails on behalf of the trees.
Join Vancouver Parks and West Point Grey Community Centre artist-in-residence, Holly Schmidt for a walk through the trees and hear more about the conversations among the people of Vancouver and the trees.

This walk is led by artist, educator, and curator, Holly Schmidt. In her recent projects, Grow (2011) and Moveable Feast (2012), Till (2014/2015), Pollen Index (2016) diverse publics were invited into the works through a program of events including workshops, walks, momentary exchanges and communal eating. This method of practice utilizes pedagogy as a medium to bring people together around mutual concerns while forming temporary communities of dialogue and exchange.
