Join Vancouver Soundwalk Collective member Jorma Kujala for this free, guided listening tour. A recent development boom in Coquitlam is once again reconfiguring the fabric the downtown core of this vibrant, multicultural city. It is also reawakening important discussions about community. This soundwalk opens opportunities to listen between snapped trunks and skyscrapers, to listen to home, to listen where the heart is. A Soundwalk invites you to actively listen, opening ears and consciousness to the complex orchestration that the environment is composing at all times. It is a musical-sonic adventure that reveals the banal to be extraordinary! This event will take place rain or shine and will cover a variety of terrain, please be sure to wear appropriate footwear.
