Painting the Heartbeat of the CityRegina, Saskatchewan
Heritage, Visual Arts — Behind-the-scenes, Hands-On Activity
Bring your art supplies; even a pen and lined paper will do! Join artists of the Plein Air Painters of Regina Group as they capture the "Heartbeat of the City" during a farmers' market. En plein air painting (in the open air) wasmade popular by French Impressionists and our own Canadian Group of Seven. Observe or participate and be inspired by the hustle and bustle, sights and sounds that bring our city's core to life. You may also wish to bring a lawn chair, easel, water, bug spray appropriate clothing and anything else to make your 2 hour plein air painting experience a comfortable one. Children must be accompanied by a participating adult. This is a FREE event!
This event is in English.
This event is not wheelchair accessible.
