Sylvia Bouchard will demonstrate wet felting, a technique where, by rhythmic manipulation, merino wool rovings are transformed into a sturdy felted object. Participants will have the opportunity to make a 3-d felted pouch.

Arts at the Albion
Sylvia Bouchard is a fibre artist, working in fabric, thread and wools. She uses traditional techniques such as quilting, embroidery and fabric manipulation to create tactile landscapes. Also, she uses wool, both needle felted and wet felted to create wearable art. Her work can be seen at Arts at the Albion, a co-operative gallery, 100 Muskoka Rd. N, Gravenhurst, ON
