Music — Talks and Discussion, Behind-the-scenes
The Edmonton Symphony Orchestra kicks off Culture Days weekend with a celebration of the music of Mozart & Bruckner. To start off the morning, Musicologist D.T Baker will give a talk about the music that will be performed. You will then be invited into the rehearsal, which will include Mozart’s final concerto, a concerto for clarinet, featuring a local soloist from Leduc, James Campbell; as well as Bruckner’s final Symphony. After the dress rehearsal, guests are welcome to join our bilingual interpretive tour to learn more about the Winspear Centre and the stunning Davis Concert Organ.
