Culture Days @ the Library is a city-wide celebration of arts and culture taking place at various Toronto Public Library branches.

Feel empowered and get equipped with lifelong tools that will build and nurture the RESILIENT individual that you are! You won't want to miss this powerful and interactive event where you will not only be inspired, you will be entertained through live performances.

Madette will also be sharing about her past as she coped with suicidal-depression and how she conquered it, as well as songs, poetry and tips on how you can become holistically and unstoppably resilient.

Madette Mendoza

Madette is an R&B singer, motivational author and wellness advocate born in the Philippines and raised in Toronto. Her debut book “Antilogy” (2017) offers a raw look into her past coping with mental illness, raises awareness to end the stigma and encourages others in turning their struggles into positive, healthy outlets. With more than 10 years of experience in music and creative wellness, Madette, a survivor of suicidal-depression, now empowers others by sharing how she became holistically and unstoppably resilient.
