Culture Days @ the Library is a city-wide celebration of arts and culture taking place at various Toronto Public Library branches.

Storytime in Spanish with Yannis Lobaina

Celebrating Toronto’s Spanish-speaking community through stories, songs, and collages! Writer and filmmaker Yannis Lobaina will be leading us through the creation of some handmade books. These books will be filled with the stories and ideas of those who attend this event. All supplies will be provided, the only thing you need to bring is your imagination.

Yannis Lobaina

Yannis Lobaina is a Cuban writer/ producer & filmmaker based in Toronto. Lobaina as writer and emerging filmmaker explores ideas of immigration, diaspora and sociocultural issues. Currently, Lobaina is involved in helping the Spanish-speaking community through her storytelling program, Travesía Mágica, stories in Spanish. Which, has done in libraries in the city, and schools.
