The City of Guelph is inviting Guelph-based artists and designers to submit preliminary designs to be included in the repainting of the City’s water tower near Exhibition Park in 2018.
The winning design will be chosen through a two-stage application process with three finalists shortlisted by the Public Art Advisory Committee, and the final design selected through an online public vote in November.
Artwork will be scored based on quality, creativity, technical feasibility and relevance to Guelph. The top three finalists will each receive a $250 honorarium, and the artist whose work is selected by the community will be awarded an additional $750 prize.
