Visual Arts, Heritage — Hands-On Activity, Collective Creation

Master Spinner and Fibre Artist, and Goodsoil resident Kara Perpelitz will be starting our Culture Days off on Friday at GCS working with the students on a Community felting project which will be completed with the general public on Saturday. She will also be doing spinning demonstrations. We will be also be dusting off and firing up the "Lelke Doerr Special" miniature steam engine for the first time since 2003. There will be local musicians, traditional dancers , red willow basket weaving, games, farmer's market and food. The Goodsoil Historical Museum will be open with free admission to the public.
