Bring your family for a day in the country and tour farms in north-east Dufferin. This years’ hosts include farms specializing in community supported agriculture, potatoes (organic, specialty and table), highland cattle, fruits and vegetables, native plants and milk production (Holstein dairy). The tour is self-guided, open to the public and goes rain or shine. Admission is free with a non-perishable food donation in support of local food banks. Tour passports are available ONE WEEK prior to the tour. Download passport at dufferinfarmtour.com or pick up the passport at Orangeville Tourist Information, Hwys. 9 & 10, Orangeville OR Dufferin County Museum & Archives, Hwy 89 and Airport Road, Mulmur.

Tour passport with map can be downloaded from www.dufferinfarmtour.com. Six farms will be marked on your map and you may start wherever you wish. A volunteer will be at the Dufferin County Museum & Archives on the day of the tour (morning only) to assist with directions and can provide a paper copy of the passport.
Dufferin Town & Country Farm Tour
The Dufferin Town And Country Farm Tour was started in 2000 and is hosted one Saturday each year in the fall.The annual tour gives participants an opportunity to see and experience farming and agri-business first-hand, with hosts and volunteers on hand to talk about their operation and guide you around.The Dufferin Town & Country Farm Tour is an ideal venue to reconnect the consumers to the producers of the food we eat.
