For “Culture Days” Reina will be teaching participants how to foil a piece of glass. “Foiling is the process of applying copper foil to the edge of the prepared piece of glass allowing it to then be soldered into place with zinc/lead solder.

Reina Leudke ia an artist from Temagami Ontario that has chosen glass as her medium. She has been working with stained glass since 2013 and recently taught herself the art of etching. Her love of horses and nature drew her to specialize in equine portraiture as well as landscapes. Reina’s work can be viewed at her Island Gallery , Gallery 212, situated on beautiful Lake Temagami which is host to many local and regional artists and artisans.
