The Community Heritage Commission and the City of Maple Ridge have established seven History Geocaches in the community to develop awareness of Maple Ridge’s history and heritage to celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary. Combining exploring with treasure hunting, geocaching is a great way for families to get outside. Are you ready to take your family on a geocaching adventure? Geocaching with kids is awesome! It combines the excitement of a family treasure hunt, the outdoor fun and exercise of a hike, and the wonder of GPS technology.

I am a member at large with the Maple Ridge Community Heritage Commission. As part of Maple Ridge's 150 Celebration I was asked to organize seven Geocaches that would develop awareness of Maple Ridge's history and heritage.
