Visual Arts, Maker Culture — Hands-On Activity, Excursion
Squamish Artwalk 2017, organised by VISUALS and supported by the Squamish Arts Council (SAC), Electoral Area D of the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District, and the Canada 150, is aiming to provide visual artists with a platform to share their talents and gifts to enrich the lives of the community memebers. Artwalk 2017 will be a month-long public fine art exhibition, showcasing established and emerging artists throughout Squamish through local businesses and galleries.

Starting at the SAC building located in Junction Park, 37950 Cleveland Ave. Squamish, BC, participants can self explore a variety of locations by following the Artwalk map, participate in bike tours, as well as join in on some workshops being run.

VISUALS, Squamish Valley Artists Society! Is a non-profit fellowship of visual artists. We support mutual and individual artistic growth, making the Arts a core component of our creative community while having fun in the process. Our organization supports the development, education, and promotion of Sea to Sky artists. Our Squamish based artist volunteer group creates mentoring and networking opportunities for all artisans to share their knowledge and expertise, assisting in the development of professional business, marketing and sales skills.
