Music, Music — Hands-On Activity
The Baroque, Country Fiddle and Bluegrass workshop is open to participants all ages - junior to senior violin and fiddle players with at least three years of experience on their music instrument. The participants will be organized in groups according to their levels. After the introductory lesson about the connections between the 17th and 18th Century European Baroque music and the North American Country Fiddle and Bluegrass music they will have the opportunity to learn and perform pieces in both styles of music.

Cvetozar Vutev is a professional violin and viola player and teacher, a Doctor of Musicology and Musical Arts, a concertmaster of both Kamloops Symphony and Symphony of the Kootenays, member of the Okanagan Symphony, Music Director of both Vivace Chorale and Kamloops Brandenburg Orchestra, music instructor at Thompson Rivers University, member of Chamber Musicians of Kamloops, member of Strio-V Bluegrass string trio.
