The Baroque and Bluegrass violin workshop is open to participants all ages - junior to senior violin and fiddle players with at least three years of experience on their music instrument. The participants will be organized in groups according to their levels. After an introductory group lesson about the connections between the 17th and 18th Century European Baroque music and the North American Country Fiddle and Bluegrass music they will have the opportunity to learn and perform individually and together pieces in both music styles.

The heritage church building is located on the corner of Seymour St and 2nd Ave in downtown Kamloops, BC.
Cvetozar Vutev is a Doctor of Musicology and Musical Arts, professional violin and viola player and teacher, concertmaster of both Kamloops Symphony and Symphony of the Kootenays, member of the Okanagan Symphony, Music Director of both Vivace Chorale and Kamloops Brandenburg Orchestra, music instructor at Thompson Rivers University, member of Chamber Musicians of Kamloops, and member of Strio-V Bluegrass trio. Cvetozar is the recipient of the 2017 Mayor of Kamloops Artist of the Year Performing Arts Award.
