Heritage, Multicultural — Hands-On Activity, Talks and Discussion
The members of the SBSGS will show case the research they have done in different regions of the world on specific ethnic groups of their ancestors. They will be available to answer questions and provide guidance to people interested in that area.
Volunteers will also provide guidance with scanning negatives, photos, documents and tips for preserving the information that has been passed down or discovered.
In the afternoon a beginner workshop will take place to provide tips and insight on how to get started in tracing one's family history and best genealogical resources currently available.

The Saskatoon Branch of the Saskatchewan Genealogical Society (SGS) is part of a volunteer provincial heritage organization whose purpose is to promote and develop the study, research, and preservation of genealogy and family history. The many programs and services we offer are all designed to achieve our mission. Members' interest extend around the world and locally to include these ethnic groups Aboriginal ,American, Canadian, English, French, Finnish, German, Irish, Scottish, South American, and Ukrainian.
