We Are Your Future (Somos Su Futuro): creativity and resilience among women weavers of Tlamacazapa, Mexico is an exhibition of paintings, etchings and weaving focusing on the lives of indigenous women from the community of Tlamacazapa, Guerrero, Mexico. Winnipeg's Ray Dirks was invited by Atzin in Mexico to join master printmaker Alejandro Aranda, from Cuernavaca, as the featured artists. They are joined by indigenous women weavers from Tlamacazapa who add baskets, mats and figures to this vibrant and educational exhibition. Experience life and art far from Mexico's tourist resorts. September 9 to November 12.

The MHC Gallery is located on the south campus of Canadian Mennonite University, just south of the corner of Grant Ave. and Shaftesbury Blvd. Ample free parking. Main gallery is wheelchair accessible. Upper level gallery is not.
