Window Shopping

Brandon, Manitoba

Visual Arts, Crafts — Excursion

For Brandon's first Nuit Blanche in 2015 contemporary artists Chris Reid and Kevin Bertram collaborated on an installation referencing and parodying store windows. This year, Chris and Kevin will collaborate once again by installing works in storefront windows throughout downtown Brandon.

These works will integrate aspects of Kevin's "Bird's and Bee's" project with Chris' "Tea Quilt and Needlefelted Garden Sweaters", as well as new projects currently being developed into diorama-like pieces that highlight some of Brandon's little celebrated past-times.

The locations for the project will include:

Brandon Friendship Adult Learning Centre
New Systems Store
and others!
