Here are just a few of the many comments about Culture Days 2010 that have come in:
"We had a wonderful time during Culture Days... The students were very excited about Culture Days as they got to put on their costumes and dance for the public. Thank you, it was a great opportunity and will definitely take part again next year."
- Beth Syrnyk, Au Set Bellydance Emporium, Winnipeg, MB
"It was a wonderful opportunity for our collective to be seen and to meet other artists, arts organizers and people off the street who'd never thought about printmaking before. We would do it again in a heartbeat."
- Maureen Da Silva, The InPrint Collective, Toronto, ON
"Participants enjoyed the tour of the Prairie History Room and liked the scavenger hunt we set up for them. The highlight of the event was when the staff member showed a recent donation to our collection, a 1900-1920 land ledger book from the William Corporation. One of the participants recognized the name of the company and spent sometime pouring through the ledger. It turned out to be quite fruitful because she found 2 of her relatives who bought land from this company and was absolutely thrilled about her find especially when we helped her photocopy the pages."
- May P. Chan, Regina Public Library, Regina, SK
