Playreading: Please Do Not Touch the Indians
UFV Theatre and Sto:lo Nation / Sto:lo Research and Resource Management Centre present staged readings of Joseph Dandurand’s Please Do Not Touch The Indians. Two carved Indians sit on a bench in front of a gift shop while tourists pose and take pictures. When the tourists leave, the Indians tell stories of Coyote, Wolf and Raven, revealing a contrasting world that is fantastic, satirical, moving and beautiful. Q&A to follow.
